Accompany the Lord to His Passsion
This week is called “Holy Week” or “Great Week” in the Orthodox Faith. It is the most sacred week of the year. It is the week that we have been preparing for since February 17! This week we are called to walk in the Spiritual strength we have developed during the Great Lenten season. We turn our thoughts from our own spiritual development to the Lord’s Passion and Resurrection. Make this week special!
- Turn off the TV, computer, and any media.
- Attend the Divine Services all week.
- Fast as much as you are able, especially on Great and Holy Friday.
- Pray that God would grant you a pure Pascha.
- Last day for Holy Confession is Thursday.
May God strengthen you as you accompany the Lord Jesus Christ to his Cross, Death, and Resurrection.
